Alfa Laval to supply heat exchanger to Indian refinery

Alfa Laval received an order from an Indian refinery for the largest Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchanger ever. The order value is about US $13 million (95 million SEK) and delivery is scheduled for 2011. 

The Alfa Laval Packinox plate heat exchanger, with a height of 25 meters is the largest heat exchanger Alfa Laval has built so far, and it will be used in a catalytic reforming unit for the production of gasoline in an Indian refinery. 

“Two thirds of our large orders the last 6 months have included our unique Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers”, says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
