Wind power project achieves more than 70% augmentation during its first month

19 February 2010 - Mass Megawatts Wind Power, Inc. announced the first data sets from its Hunter, NY wind power project. It is the company's first project incorporating a full blown Augmenter System, and initial data indicated that the Hunter Project has achieved more than 70% augmentation during its first month of operation. The Company did indicate that more data collection is needed.

During the course of these first two months, the project has seen every level of wind speed, from dead calm to gusts of 60 mph, as well as combinations of prevailing winds from every degree on the compass. The System has averaged out at more than 70% increased wind speed.
