Nostra Terra acquires stake in Hoffman property, increases Trapp field acreage

Nostra Terra Oil and Gas Company made the final US$275,000 consideration payment in respect of the Hoffman property and now owns a 25 percent working interest.

The Hoffman leases consists of five production wells (two of which are plugged) and one salt water disposal well, located in Barton County and Russell County, Kansas.

Nostra Terra also increased its acreage in the Trapp field by an additional 160 acres, located near the Company's Hoffman property. The lease over the additional acreage was acquired jointly with Hewitt Petroleum Inc. (operator of Nostra Terra's Kansas properties) with each party owning 50 percent.

"We are happy to have completed the acquisition of NTOG's full 25 percent working interest at Hoffman," said Matt Lofgran, CEO of Nostra Terra. "In addition, this new acquisition doubles our gross acreage in the Trapp field. The property is very well positioned, and we continue to look for additional property in the Trapp field."
