Iberdrola and Vattenfall advised in bid to develop East Anglia Offshore Wind Limited

10 February 2010 - In advancing a joint venture to establish East Anglia Offshore Wind Limited, Iberdrola and Vattenfall received legal advice regarding the vehicle's successful bid for rights to develop a wind farm off the coast of Norfolk and Suffolk.

The bid is part of the Crown Estate’s Round 3 leasing program for the delivery of up to 25 GW of new offshore wind farm sites by 2020. East Anglia Offshore Wind Limited has been awarded Zone 5 of nine zones. The Crown Estate owns the seabed out to the 12 nautical mile territorial limit around the UK’s coastline.
