GMX sees huge production from Haynesville horizontal well

GMX Resources Inc. (GMXR) announced the completion of the Mia Austin #1H Haynesville/Bossier horizontal well in East Texas. 

The Mia Austin #1H well flowed at an initial production rate of 14.1 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The well has a 4,600-foot lateral, with 12 frac stages and was flowing on a 20/64 choke with 5,492 pounds of Flowing Casing Pressure. 

This is the first of four Haynesville/Bossier horizontal wells that GMX Resources expects to complete during the first quarter of 2010.
