Element Power acquires 1.4GW of U.S. wind assets from EcoEnergy

9 February 2010 - Element Power said it recently acquired a 1.4 GW portfolio of wind development assets from EcoEnergy, for an undisclosed price.

"The acquisition of these projects from EcoEnergy augments both our greenfield development efforts and our previous acquisitions," stated Raimund Grube, Element Power's President and COO for North America.

Over the last year private equity-backed Element Power has built a North American portfolio of nearly 4 GW of wind and solar assets.
