Electric power plant boilers to be provided by Doosan in US$347M deal

19 February 2010 - Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co. said it had won a $347 million (KRW₩398 billion) deal to provide two boilers to be built at a power plant in Egypt.The plant is projected to have a capacity of 1,300 MW.

Under the deal with East Delta Electricity Production Co., Doosan Heavy is to provide the boilers to the power plant in Ain Sokhna, 93 miles east of Cairo, by February 2014.
