Doosan Skoda wins Denmark cogeneration turbine deal

Doosan Skoda Power has won a major steam turbine contract for a Danish cogeneration power plant.

The company will supply a complete machine hall including a Doosan Skoda steam turbine DST-S10, generator, heat exchangers, oil system, feed water tank, plus all piping, cabling, steel structures, crane and lighting.

Doosan Skoda anticipates the deal at the Amagerværket plant in Copenhagen, from contract to becoming operational, will take 31 months. 

The work is being carried out for HOFOR Energiproduktion, part of Denmark’s largest utility HOFOR and the new block will burn biomass and also provide heating for part of Copenhagen.
