Colombia's ISA wins second transmission project in Peru

Peru's private investments agency ProInversión has awarded the Colombian group ISA a 30-year license for the Friaspata-Mollepata electric transmission project.

Just a few months before, ISA was awarded the La Planicie-Industriales line.

The Friaspata-Mollepata line will reach a length of 90.5 km and a capacity of 220 kV, BN Americas reported. The project will be the main connection between the national grid and the Ayacucho department's electric system.

Construction work will include a substation and is expected to last 25 months. An investment of $39m will be required.
