This week’s PEi Newsletter saw the UK’s $11bn nuclear decommissioning contract as our top story.

Other notable events in the power generation world so far this week include the decision by E.ON to shut down the Grafenrheinfeld nuclear power plant, which has implications for southern Germany. Meanwhile, still in Germany the head of Siemens Energy has come in for some flak for his trip to Russia, which is being seen as a means of protecting the company’s Russian business interests.
For these and other noteworthy power industry news and events check out Tuesday’s Newsletter, and feel free to comment on articles or on our LinkedIn Group.
