Vestas wins order in Turkey

Vestas (OMX: VWS) are to form part of a joint venture with Zaf and Tefirom to develop the 27 MW Senbuk wind power plant in Hatay, Turkey.

The Danish manufacturer will deploy nine units of its V112-3.0 MW wind turbines at the project beginning the first quarter of 2013.

Alongside ancillary services including provision of VestasOnline Business SCADA system the company will provide a ten year service and maintenance agreement under active management output option.

According to Energy Business Review, when fully operational the project is estimated to have annual production of 97,800 MWh.
