Vestas chosen for England’s largest onshore wind farm

Danish wind power manufacturer Vestas (OMXVWS) has been selected to supply 34 V90-2MW turbines to SSE"s Keadby wind farm in Lincolnshire, England.

Vestas Northern Europe president Klaus Steen Mortensen said: “The V90-2.0 MW builds on proven technology to ensure component reliability and durability, reducing the risk of downtime and helping ensure stability of the customers’ investment.”

Delivery will take place in summer 2013 and the project is due to be completed by summer 2014.
