New wind power blade manufacturing facility for Brazil

Danish wind component manufacturer LM Wind Power is to construct a new blade manufacturing facility in Brazil, expanding its presence in the Americas.

The factory is set to target delivery of blades to wind farms in Brazil and throughout South America.

The factory -  LM Wind Power's first in Brazil - will be built in the port of Suape, near Recife in the State of Pernambuco, an area specially developed for the manufacture of wind energy equipment and components, covering the entire value chain of the wind industry, reports Renewable Energy Focus.
