Alstom signs $128m deal to supply Korean coal power plant

Alstom (Euronext: ALO) will provide two 600 MW steam turbines as part of a $128m deal to equip the Dongbu Green power ultrasupercritcal coal fired power plant in South Korea.

The deal involves supply of the turbines, along with generator sets and accessories.

On completion, the Dongbu Green Power Plant is expected to contribute to the country's rising energy demands that are anticipated to grow at 2.3 per cent annually through 2030.
