Matriz energética chilena ya es 4% renovable

29 de agosto 2012 - El 4 por ciento de la matriz energética en Chile ya produce su electricidad a través de fuentes de energía renovable, de acuerdo a Alfredo Solar, presidente de la Asociación Chilena de Energías Renovables.

Durante el primer semestre del año la generación con energías renovables superó los 730 MW, dijo Solar.

Solar aseguró que “entre iniciativas aprobadas y en trámite se superan los 8.000 MW y, fundamentalmente, las tecnologías que predominan son las fotovoltaica y eólica, que deben concentrar fácilmente el 90 por ciento”.
