1625 MW of hydro and thermal powered projects for India

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has connected hydro and thermal power projects, with a cumulative capacity of 1625 MW to the Indian national grid.

The four power projects include 525 MW Unit-2 of Maithon Power, 500 MW Unit-2 of KPCL Bellary, 500 MW Unit-2 of DVC Durgapur and 100 MW Unit-4 of THDC Koteshwar hydro plant.

Energy Business Review reports that BHEL has now commissioned a total power project capacity of 7900 MW in the current year so far.
