Con Edison to benefit from Siemens Smart Grid service

Siemens' (NYSESI) Smart Grid Division and TIBCO Software (NASDAQTIBX) are to provide Smart Grid enterprise integration services to Consolidated Edison (NYSEED).

The service is being provided for a Smart Grid demonstration project funded by the Department of Energy through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) stimulus program.

Thierry Godart, Siemens Smart Grid division President in the United States, said, “We are proud to share our extensive integration experience with Con Edison in an effort to provide them with a cost effective and proven integration solution.”
