Alstom Deputy Chief Executive Joubert resigns

Alstom Chief Executive Philippe Joubert

Alstom, the French transport and power engineering company, has announced that Philippe Joubert, deputy CEO and president of its power business, has resigned.

Reuters reports that Joubert, 57, has been retained as an advisor to chief executive Patrick Kron on environment and sustainable development issues, Alstom said in a statement.

No successor has yet been announced.
