China to build 300 MW wind farm off Hebei coast

China will build a 300 MW wind farm off the coast of Leting county in the northern province of Hebei.

The 5.76 billion yuan ($913 million) project will receive all required government approvals by year-end and will be connected to the power grid by the end of 2015, the official news service reported, according to Bloomberg.

The farm, an array of 100 units of 3 MW offshore turbines, will generate 752 million kilowatt hours of power and 730 million yuan in sales annually.
