AEP Ohio has issued two RFPs for wind and solar energy projects to be developed in Ohio.

The company seeks proposals of up to 250 MW of wind energy and up to 100 MW of solar energy proposals, with a minimum capacity of 10 MW for both. AEP Ohio has an agreement with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio to develop 500 MW of new wind generation and 400 MW of solar generation.
