Eagle Creek Purchases Maine Hydroelectric Plant

Maine Hydro Project Certified Low Impact

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy LLC announced it has purchased Brown Bear II Hydro Holdings LLC, the owner of the Worumbo Hydroelectric facility on the Androscoggin River in Lisbon Falls, Maine.

A purchase price was not disclosed.

Worumbo Hydroelectric has a capacity of 19 MW, and provides nearly 95 million KW/h of energy in New England each year.

The facility will continue to supply energy to buyers under existing power purchase agreements, though it will now be managed and operated by Eagle Creek.
