Greenridge Generation Plant to Switch From Coal to Gas

Greenridge Generation announced they have secured all required permits and approvals to switch the Greenridge Generation plant from coal to gas.

The plant should begin generating power again by February 1, 2017, reported the Chronicle-Express.

Greenridge, which operates in Yates County, New York, has been shut down since 2011.
