Feds Seek Comment on Talen’s Nuclear Plant License Transfer Plan

Federal regulators are seeking public comment on Talen Energy Corp.’s proposal to transfer the licens of the Susquehanna nuclear power plant.

The Allentown Morning Call reported the Nuclear Regulatory Commission posed a notice for the public comment in the Federal Register.

The transfer request is part of the move by Riverstone Holdings to acquire Talen. Talen was formed in June 2015 from PPL EnergySupply and Riverstone Holdings.
