LaSalle Unit 1 Operating at Full Power Following Maintenance Outage

Operators at LaSalle County Generating Station returned Unit 1 to full power yesterday following a maintenance outage to replace seals on two water-circulation pumps that were underperforming. The unit was out of service for four days.

LaSalle Station is located about 75 miles southwest of Chicago. At full power the plant’s two units produce more than 2,300 MW of power.
