PSEG Solar Source Acquires Solar Project from Ecoplexus

PSEG Solar Source today announced its $40-million acquisition of a 25.9-MW solar energy facility from Exoplexus. Located about 80 miles east of Raleigh, North Carolina, the facility will be called the PSEG Meadows Solar Energy Center.
Construction on the facility is currently underway, with commercial operations expected to begin in the next several months. Ecoplexus served as the project’s EPC contractor and will operate the facility when finished. The facility will use about 152,000 Solar Frontier thin films solar panels with tier-1 inverters.
This is PSEG Solar Source’s fifteenth utility-scale solar project. The 105-acre facility has a 15-year power purchase agreement with Dominion’s Virginia Electric and Power Company.
