 PSEG Solar Source Acquires 36.3-MW Colorado Solar Project

PSEG Solar Source has acquired a 36.3-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) facility from juwi Inc.

PSEG Larimer Solar Energy Center is being built on 290 acres about 25 miles north of Fort Collins, Colorado.  The project, featuring approximately 117,000 polycrystalline PV panels, represents an investment of more than $54 million by PSEG.

juwi Inc. will continue to serve as the engineering, procurement and construction contractor.

Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2016.

A 25-year power purchase agreement is in place with Platte River Power Authority.
