 FENOC Names Site VP of Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Plant

FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating co. (FENOC), a unit of FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE: FE), named Marty Richey as site vice president of the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania.
Richey will replace Eric Larson, who will be a loaned executive to the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations in Atlanta. Richey joins FENOC from Entergy’s (NYSE: ETR) Waterford Nuclear Generating Station in Louisiana where he was plant manager. He also served in operations leadership roles at Entergy’s Grand Gulf Nuclear Station in Mississippi and Vermont Yankee. He has also held management positions at Entergy’s Palisades nuclear plant in Michigan and Florida Power & Light’s Turkey Point nuclear plant in Florida, where he earned senior reactor operator certification.
Richey is a veteran of the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Siena Heights University in Michigan.
