 EDF Renewable Energy to Supply Wind Energy Output to Salesforce

EDF Renewable Energy signed an agreement to supply Salesforce with 24-MW of wind energy from its Salt Form Wind Project in Texas.
The project started construction of its total 174-MW capacity project and is expected to begin commercial operation by the end of 2016. Salt Fork will use 87 V100 wind turbines supplied by Vestas.
The project will put the energy output on ERCOT’s Competitive Renewable Energy Zone (CREZ) transmission infrastructure. Garland Power & Light signed a long-term power purchase agreement to purchase 150-MW of the output, along with renewable energy credits.
