 GE Supplying 120 MW of Wind Turbines for 2 French Projects

General Electric's (NYSE:GE) renewable energy unit has reached its largest onshore wind deal in France. 

The company is supplying 120 MW of wind turbines for the Rougemont and Vaite wind projects.

GE Renewable Energy's contracts include full service agreements for both wind farms as well as the delivery of 43 units of 2.75-120 turbines.

Construction is expected to begin in the second half of 2016.  The first phase of commercial operations is expected in early 2017 while construction should be finished by 2018.
