 EDF Renewable Services Announces Service Contract with ALLETE Subsidiary

EDF Renewable Services (EDF RS) has reached a deal with ALLETE Inc. subsidiary ALLETE Clean Energy to provide round-the-clock monitoring and turbine resets for five wind projects in Oregon, Iowa, Minnesota and Pennsylvania.

Per the agreement, EDF RS will provide remote services for the company’s NERC-registered Operations Control Center.

The projects include the 49.8-MW Condon in Oregon; the 108-MW Storm Lake I and the 76.5-MW Stork Lake II in Iowa; The 104.25-MW Lake Benton I in Minnesota; and the 100.5-MW Armenia Mountain in Pennsylvania.

EDF RS already provides complete operations and maintenance services for Minnesota’s 85.5-MW Chanarambie and 9-MW Viking projects.
