 Canadian Solar Sells 10-MW Ontario Solar Plant for Nearly $50 Million

Canadian Solar Inc. has sold its 10-MW Illumination LP solar power plant to an affiliate of DIF Infrastructure III.

Valued at $48.4 million, the Scugog, Ontario plant features 47,448 Canadian Solar Max Power CS6X-300/310P PV modules.

Illumination LP reached commercial operation Nov. 13, 2015.  Its capacity is being sold pursuant to a 20-year Independent Electricity System Operator feed-in-tariff contract.
