 Bangladesh Natural Gas-Fired Project to Use Siemens Equipment

Siemens (NYSE: SI) will supply key components for a 400-MW combined-cycle natural gas-fired power plant in Bangladesh.
Siemens will supply one SGT5-4000F gas turbine, an SST-3000 steam turbine and a model SGen-2000H generator, along with all associated auxiliary systems, the electrical and instrumentation and the controls for the Bibiyana South natural gas-fired single-shaft plant. Isolux Corsan is building the plant and has scheduled commissioning for May 2018.
The company is also supplying the key components for the Sirajganj Phase I and II, Ashuganj, Ashuganj South, Ashuganj North, Shikalbaha and Ghorashai power plants, which have a combined generating total of 2.5 GW.
