 Areva to Supply Nuclear Fuel Assemblies to Spanish Plant

Spanish utility Centrales Nucleares Almaraz-Trillo (CNAT) picked Areva to supply fuel assemblies to the Trillo nuclear power plant in Spain.
Areva will supply six fuel reloads to CNAT from 2017 to 2022. The Trillo nuclear plant is a 1,066-MW pressurized water reactor. Areva has been supplying fuel to the plant from its fuel manufacturing plant in Germany since it started operations in 1988.
