 Amec Foster Wheeler to Design Nuclear Waste Storage Site in Scotland

Amec Foster Wheeler was awarded a contract for the design, safety case and environmental assessment of a new higher activity waste store at a nuclear site in Scotland.
 
The 12-month contract, awarded by Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd. (DSRL), requires Amec Foster Wheeler to use its decommissioning design skills to undertake the scheme and detailed design, safety case and environmental assessments of the store, which will hold encapsulated waste from decommissioning activities on the Dounreay site.
