Mexico Nuclear Power Plant Having Valves Refurbished

AZZ Inc. (NYSE: AZZ) will refurbish valves at a nuclear power plant in Mexico for a contract worth more than $15 million.

AZZ Inc. (NYSE: AZZ) will refurbish valves at a nuclear power plant in Mexico for a contract worth more than $15 million.
 
The company was awarded a contract to refurbish main steam isolation valves and reactor recirculation cooling system valves at the Laguna Verde 1 and 2 nuclear plants. AZZ will provide proprietary technology to execute the valve repair services at Unit 1 during a planned outage in fall 2015, then Unit 2 during an outage in spring 2016.
