 IKEA to Install Nevada's Largest Single-Use Retail Solar Array

IKEA has announced plans to install a solar energy system on the roof of its Las Vegas store, scheduled to open summer 2016.

Construction on the array will begin this winter. Once complete, the solar installation will be the largest single-use rooftop solar array in use by a retailer in Nevada.
The store’s 240,504-square-foot solar array will consist of a 1.14-MW system comprised of 3,620 panels, generating about 1.75 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity annually.
Helix Electric will design and install the solar facility.
