Blymyer Engineers Chosen as Engineering Firm for Arizona's Sandstone Solar Project

Blymyer Engineers, a utility-scale solar project design firm, was selected recently as the exclusive engineering firm for a new project in Florence, Arizona.

Blymyer will provide engineering services for A.C. Sandstone, a 45-MW solar farm owned by renewable energy IPP SPower.

EPC firm Swinerton Builders chose Blymyer for the project, which is expected to deliver power by the end of the year.

Sandstone will feature 182,000 Jinko JKM312P-72 solar photovoltaic modules, Advanced Energy 100NX inverters and ATI v3 single axis trackers, which follow the sun.

SPower and SRP have a 21-year power purchase agreement for the energy generated by the solar farm.
