APS Requests Proposals for New Large-Scale Solar Plant

Arizona Public Service requests proposals for new large-scale solar plant

Arizona Public Service (APS) today issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a new large-scale solar project in Arizona to be completed in partnership with commercial and industrial customers.
If responses to the RFP are competitive, APS will explore partnerships with customers in which the utility will build and operate a solar installation as large as 40 MW, with customers committing to purchase the output. Several customers have already expressed interest in the concept.
Proposed projects must rely on commercially proven solar technologies. Interested parties are encouraged to take part in a webinar held by APS Oct. 14.
