SolarWorld Supplying 65 MW of Solar Panels for Oregon Solar Farm

SolarWorld has sealed a deal for the largest single project supply in the company’s history.

The solar panel manufacturer will supply Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Co. with 65 MW of SolarWorld’s high-efficiency, 72-cell solar panels for an Oregon solar farm.  The contract will be fulfilled in 2016.

Panasonic Enterprise Solutions will construct, own and operate the farm in Malheur County.

SolarWorld boasts more than 1 GW of annual production capacity.  Other contracts include a 50-MW project in Central Asia, a 330-MW project in Ontario, Canada and a number of other large projects across the U.S.
