Invenergy Signs Build-Transfer Deal with Dominion for 20-MW Morgans Corner solar facility

Invenergy Clean Power LLC has announced its first project in North Carolina.

A developer of clean energy solutions, Invenergy has signed a build-transfer deal with Dominion for the construction and sale of its 20-MW Morgans Corner solar facility in Pasquotank County.

Proceeds from the solar park’s transfer will be invested in Invenergy’s development activities across North America.

Invenergy companies have developed more than 9,100 MW of projects including 76 wind, solar and natural gas-fueled power generation and energy storage facilities.  More than 3,400 MW of Invenergy’s solar projects are in various stages of development across North America.

The company’s first solar project was the 20-MW Grand Ridge Solar farm in La Salle County, Illinois.
