Atlantic Solar Utility-Scale Solar Plant in Ontario Fully Operational

Atlantic Wind & Solar says its subsidiary's 500 kW utility-scale solar power plant in Mississauga, Ontario is now fully operational.

Atlantic Solar's $3 million solar rooftop installation is expected to produce 12,600 megawatt hours of power in the next 20 years, delivering clean energy to Ontario. 

Canadian Solar Inc. provided 1,980 305-W panels for the project.

The plant’s output is being sold under the province’s Feed-In-Tariff program.
