Principal Solar teams with Entropy to build 100-MW generating facility

Principal Solar Inc.

Solar developer and operator Principal Solar, Inc. (PSI) will co-develop a major solar asset in its first project with affiliates of Entropy Investment Management.

Located in Cumberland County, N.C., the 100-MW facility will produce enough electricity to power approximately 20,000 average American homes.
Construction began the week of Aug. 17. The project is expected to begin generating power before the end of 2015. According to the terms of the agreement, PSI will continue to play an important role in developing the project and will sell its interest in the project to affiliates of Entropy.

PSI will continue to manage relationships necessary to build the project and will oversee critical development milestones as it completes construction of the facility and connects it to the transmission grid.
