US Republican leader warms Obama on Iran nuclear deal

WASHINGTON (AP) - The leader of the U.S. House of Representatives has warned the White House that if Republicans don't think the newly announced nuclear deal with Iran is a good one, they will block it.

Speaker John Boehner tells reporters that if the agreement is as bad as he thinks it is right now, then Republicans will do everything they can to stop its implementation. President Barack Obama says he'll veto any attempt by Congress to undo the deal.

Obama called Boehner Monday night to let him know that an agreement had been reached.
