Sale of Connecticut biomass power plant completed

Plainfield Renewable Energy Center Connecticut bought by Greenleaf Power

Greenleaf Power finalized the purchase of the Plainfield Renewable Energy Plant in Connecticut from Leidos Inc.

The Plainfield Renewable Energy Project is a 37.5-MW biomass power plant. The output is sold to Connecticut Light and Power under a long-term offtake agreement. The plant has been in operations since late 2013.
