NY county gov't building to use cogeneration power unit

Tecogen Inc. (Nasdaq: TGEN) sold a combined heat and power (CHP) module for installation at a county government office complex in Long Island, New York.

The unnamed installing contractor put in the CM-75 75-kW unit. The system is expected to be commissioned in fourth quarter 2015. The CHP plant will generate electricity for hot water to supplement the building’s heating system.
