 Construction begins on Mexico wind power project

Enel Green Power started construction on a 100-MW wind energy farm in Mexico.
The Vientos del Altiplano project will have a total installed capacity of 100 MW. Enel Green Power will invest approximately $220 million on construction of the 50, 2-MW wind turbines. The project is expected to come online in the second half of 2016.
Enel Green Power has an installed capacity of around 400 MW in Mexico, of which 346-MW is from wind and 53-MW from hydro.
