 Canadian Solar finishes much of 100-MW Ontario power project

Canadian Solar (Nasdaq: CSIQ), said that its subsidiary, Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., substantially completed the 100-MW Grand Renewable Solar Project in Ontario.
 
The project uses approximately 445,000 CS6X MaxPower modules. Canadian Solar provided the engineering, procurement and construction services for the project, which is jointly owned by Samsung Renewable Energy Inc., Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure, and Six Nations of the Grand River.
 
The project has a 20-year power purchase agreement with the IESO. At the peak of construction, approximately 450 jobs were created.
