Bechtel breaks ground on natural gas-fired power plant in Ohio

Bechtel broke ground on a new 700-MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle power plant in Carroll County, Ohio.

Bechtel is responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction and start-up of the Carroll County Energy Facility. The plant will include state-of-the-art emissions controls and will support up to 700 jobs during peak construction.

The plant is expected to begin commercial operations in 2017.
