NuScale president & CEO named to U.S. chamber spot

John Hopkins, president and CEO of NuScale Power LLC, was appointed vice chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for a one-year term.

Hopkins succeeds Michael Ducker, president and CEO of FedEx Freight. He was named CEO of NuScale in 2012. Prior to joining NuScale, Hopkins held several executive positions in 24 years with Fluor Corp. (NYSE: FLR), including as group president of the company’s Corporate Development and new Ventures Group.
