GE renewable energy unit to invest $25mn in TerraForm Global

GE (NYSE: GE)’s renewable energy unit will invest $25 million in TerraForm Global LLC.

TerraForm Global was formed by SunEdison to won and operate contracted renewable energy assets in emerging markets. The agreement is expected to help support new wind energy pipeline opportunities for TerraForm Global, and GE will supply life cycle operations and maintenance support for TerraForm’s international wind projects.
